We're finally going back! Last year we spent 8 weeks in Bali and we're going back to cure our Bali blues... If you haven't heard someone raving about this magical island yet, here's a quick break-down: authentic yoga, irresistible healthy food, lush rice fields, jungle adventures, strong surf breaks, stunning beaches, cheap scooters to rent monthly, and a solid nomad coworking scene.
To get the most of our time in Bali, we chose two luxury villas in Canggu that are side-by-side – surrounded by jungle and rice fields – just a short scooter ride from cafés, stores, restaurants and of course... the surfing beach! We have space for 20 members of the Tribe!
How about a morning swim and then working from the rooftop while overlooking a rice field paradise? Make it your daily routine :) There are 10 spacious ensuite bedrooms, two open kitchens, a lush gardens and big living rooms for work and play!
And here's a map to get an idea of where we'll be!
Adventures & Things To Do in Bali
Whether you're here for serenity and relaxation, or seeking thrills and adventure, Bali's definitely got you covered!
The art of yoga
Canggu is home to several yoga studios that offer classes in serene jungle surroundings. If you're already a yogi, or would like to explore the practice, you're on the right island. Whether beginner, advanced, or pro yogi, there are sessions for everyone – even for those who want to become teachers.
Hello Food Heaven
Nowhere else will you get the chance to eat this kind of healthy, locally produced, simply irresistible food at such a good price. Smoothie bowls with a fresh coconut for breakfast, the traditional Indonesian meal buffet for lunch, and why not a healthy Balinese spin on your favourite international dishes for dinner?
Hike one of Bali's volcanos, starting at 3am at night for a spectacular sunrise experience. Bask in the stunning views of the crater and its lake and maybe even catch a performance of the Barong and Kris Dance.
Surf Bali's good tides
Blessed with great waves, damn good weather and warm water temperatures, this island is a favourite surf destination. Last year, we learned to surf for the first time to the evening sunset.
Tirta Empul Temple
Walking through lush gardens and pathways with moss-covered statues and tropical plants, you find yourself at the entrance of the Tirta Empul Temple; the legendary setting of a tale of good vs. evil. The bathing pools are a part of an ancient ritual of purification, which is still practiced today.
The GILI Islands
This is what most people dream of when they talk about a tropical paradise; Palm trees, coral reefs and white sandy beaches. Each island has it's own unique character: Gili Meno is desolate and peaceful, Trawangan is the most cosmopolitan, with a vibrant party scene, and Gili Air is the perfect balance of both.
