Our Home IN Hungary

We are back in Europe and the first chapter of our journey takes us to Budapest, the beautiful city on the Danube and Hungary's capital. It's easy to fall in love with it's artsy places to socialize, cute little vintage shops, cafés, restaurant the hungarian cuisine. So did we and decided to stay in the city center where we set up our home base.

Here you can see a collection of previous spaces where we stayed before to give you a general idea of quality.
As soon as our new home in Budapest is confirmed we will update the photos.

And here's a map to get an idea of where we'll be!

Adventures + Things To Do In Hungary

Hungary is filled with a fairy-tale castles, stunning architecture, buzzing nightlife, mouthwatering food, medieval towns and beautiful lakesides. We have a lot to explore especially in Budapest's city center and it's surroundings. Or what about a trip to Vienna?

Go Artsy go Ruin

When you get the feeling nothing matches, nothing is ordinary, you’re half inside and half outside, meet people from all over the world - congratulations you found a ruin bar then. Ruin bars are abandoned spaces turned into clubs by locals with second-hand furniture and lots of creativity. Super fun to walk through and explore. These are now major attractions of the Magyar metropolis and you can find most of them in the Jewish Quarter.

Soak YOurself in one of the Thermal Baths

Have a half a day pamper, and rejuvenation after a long day of work. Recharge your batteries and relax in one of the many spas Budapest has to offer. One of the most famous is the Szechenyi Bath. The building itself is stunning, with ornate facades and plenty of classical features. There are 3 outdoor and 15 indoor pools in total, as well as steam room and sauna facilities.

It's so much more than Paprika

Hungarian cuisine surely has some delights for you including hearty soups, stews and game dishes, simple but tasty casseroles and luscious cakes and pastries. The national dish Goulash is simply awesome. It's traditionally made from a meat stew with noodles and vegetables, seasoned with paprika and other sorts of delish spices for hearty flavors.

The Island Of Freedom

Budapest is host of the amazing Sziget Festival. For seven days the whole city is one big party and international artists are going in and out. This year you'll have the chance to see The Chainsmokers, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pink, Major Lazer, Rita Ora, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and many more. It's going to be legendary and we can't wait to hit this massive playground with the whole tribe.
