Canggu
As one of the most popular digital nomad hotspots in the world, Canggu basically overflows with amazing cafes and restaurants. You can’t throw a stone in Canggu without hitting a wonderful space to eat and drink – and work from.
Since WiFi Tribe has several chapters a year in Canggu, we know all the good spots. And narrowing it down was incredibly difficult. But here are the three Canggu cafes that made our Top 3 list.
Tropikale
Wide variety of food, extremely spacious, cooled coconuts.
A WiFi Tribe favorite in Canggu, Tropikale has it all: great food, power outlets at almost every table, workable WiFi, comfortable seating – and most of the time it’s not even that busy. If you’re looking for a cafe to spend all day working from in Canggu, this is it.

The Mocca
Healthy food, beautiful, breezy, good coffee.
The Mocca is an open-space restaurant, tastefully decorated, and full of plants. Our favorite spot here is the upstairs area – it’s breezy, spacious, and has all kinds of seating options.
Our tribe loves this one! It’s a bit tucked away, so fewer people come here. It’s a wonderful place to sit for several hours. When there’s a breeze, it rolls right through the open-plan space and they’ve always got fans running too. It’s a peaceful place to get focused work done, on a quiet side-street, but still right in the busiest areas of Canggu.

Of course, where there are tourists, there are cafes. And great ones at that.
Simply Brew
All about the coffee.
The place is as simple, almost industrial, as the name suggests. They say you’re supposed to focus on your unique selling point, and that’s what Simply Brew does – focus on their delicious coffees.

Amed
Amed is a sleepy fishing village in one of the most beautiful areas in Bali. People come here especially for the wonderful diving territories – less so to work from remotely. As a consequence, WiFi in Amed is spotty at best, so don’t expect to be met by a large digital nomad community.
Instead, enjoy these beautiful cafes for what cafes have always been intended: great coffee, good food and each others’ company.
The Cup Resto
Breezy rooftop cafe set in the canopy of trees, offering a great view over the bay.
Few cafes can beat Cup Resto on the view and ambiance – from the third level, you can even see Mount Agung, the closest volcano. And it’s one of the few cafes you can work reliably from in Amed, while enjoying great coffee.

Blue Earth Village
Yoga. Freediving. The most popular restaurant in Amed. All in one place.

North Bali
The north of Bali, especially around the coastal area of Lovina Beach, is known for its untouched mountains, black sand beaches, coral reefs and dolphins. Less touristy than the south, Lovina is a place for quiet and solitude, to connect with nature and disconnect from busy digital nomad hotspots.
Lovina has a lot of beautiful cafes with yummy food – just don’t expect the WiFi to be on a level of those in southern parts of the island.
Akar Cafe
Thai noodles and Indian cuisine.
This super cute cafe a stone’s throw away from Lovina Beach offers vegetarian and vegan fare with your WiFi at cheap prices. Green is the cafe’s theme, which you see as soon as you step inside the green-painted walls.
