A digital nomad blog a day keeps the travel blues away…
…well maybe not. Should really be “A digital nomad blog a day, makes the FOMO (fear of missing out) too much and so we find ourselves booking flights without thought and acting crazy…”
Who knows?
Digital nomad blogs have the potential to make such a big difference to your nomadic journey.
In this post, we’ve picked out some of our favorites but this list needs to evolve, so please get in touch if you want to have your name up in lights! Of course…we need to like your blog so…make it good.
As digital nomads, we are constantly adapting and changing. Whether you’re a freelancer, a remote employee or you own an online business, we change our plans, our revenue streams; we change the habits and routines that drive our very selves. Often those promptings come from those chance interactions we have with one another, but there are also plenty of occasions where a well-placed piece of content will knock our socks off with inspiration. Written lightbulb moments that can change the course of a journey.
Let’s get into some blogs that are blowing our minds!
“How to Become A Digital Nomad” Blogs
Becoming a digital nomad is a process we all go through. For some, the location independent lifestyle kinda found you. For others, becoming nomadic is a very intentional process; a series of micro-decisions that lead to a macro amount of change.
So let’s start with you newbies and give you some blogs we’d recommend if you are transitioning into the digital nomad lifestyle full-time and you need some tips to get yourself in order and begin your digital nomad journey.
Paul Minors
We’ve featured Paul Minors because he gives productivity hacks which is great, but he also gives some detail around getting you started as a virtual consultant. Consultancy is one of the most versatile careers because you are probably already an expert in something. But another thing that Paul does is book summaries. I’ve not seen this before so I had a look and it’s quite a cool concept. There are quite a few and then an option to pay to upgrade to get the full back catalog of summaries.
Also, Paul loves to podcast, so you’ll find plenty of interesting interviews to choose from as well. Resources to look at and think about:

Location Indie
Location Indie is another digital nomad community that work and travel together. I love the overall vibe of these folks and their blog has lots of interesting insights for beginner nomads.
