We're heading to a Nordic gem for a month of shenanigans! We'll hang out in Helsinki for a month at the BEST time of the year: peak summer, where White Nights mean endless sunshine and the city is an all round vibe! This is the first time that the Tribe has called Finland home, and we're buzzing!
We're pumped for a month of coliving and coworking in ultra-hip Helsinki! This compact, walkable city, filled with stylish cafés, beautiful architecture, and stunning green spaces, oozes sophisticated urban energy and is the perfect Nordic gem to call home. Get ready for Scandinavian vibes, sauna sessions, adventures in the Baltic Sea, and weekend trips across the gorgeous outdoors of Finland.
New to WiFi Tribe? A Chapter is a month of co-living & co-working with 15-25 remote professionals and entrepreneurs. You'll arrive in a new city with an instant community of inspiring, like-minded friends to do life with (deep work on weekdays, daily hangouts, shared dinners, big adventures on weekends). Your social life is an automatic 10/10, but you choose your pace and set your schedule. And by the end, you'll leave with friends you keep traveling with for years.
Everything is co-created – NOT a tour group, a community. Most members are seasoned solo travellers who want a more connected, fun and meaningful global lifestyle – a social life that travels with them. Everyone is values-vetted (only 17% of applicants are accepted) to make sure you'll find your kind of people here. Our vibes: be kind, be bold, stay humble.
"I honestly didn't think a digital nomad community would change my life, but here we are. Ten months ago, I joined WiFi Tribe, not really knowing what to expect. Maybe some co-working sessions and a few travel buddies - but what I got was so much more than that. Three chapters and 1 festival later, I can honestly say this community has fundamentally shifted how I think about connection, work, and what's possible when you're living this lifestyle." - Gigi, Triber
We'll spend our days coworking from trendy cafés, calling cool spots in the Design District our new office where Wi-Fi is insanely fast and the coffee culture is next-level (the perfect combo for digital nomads like us)! After hours, we'll explore fortresses, wander through world-class design museums, chillax in the legendary public saunas, and hang out in hip and happening neighborhoods like Kallio.
Our weekends are going to be sheer delight. We'll hop to nearby destinations and see more of the Nordic wonderland; hiking in Nuuksio National Park, exploring the capital city of Stockholm, island-hopping through the Finnish archipelago, and wandering through Lapland.
Experience Helsinki with the Tribe
We’re beyond excited to bring WiFi Tribe to Finland for the first time! Picture finishing your work day then stepping out into endless twilight to explore medieval fortresses, relax in waterfront saunas, and soak up the mid-summer, where the midnight sun keeps the party going all night long!
1. Visit One of the Oldest Cities in Finland
The gorgeous riverside town of Porvoo, with its Insta-worthy colorful houses, cobblestone streets, and small-town Finnish charm, makes for a perfect day out.
2. Take a Ferry to Estonia
Just a ferry ride across the Baltic Sea, and we're in Estonia! Wander through Tallinn Old Town, said to be the best-preserved medieval city in Northern Europe.
3. Explore an 18th-Century Sea Fortress
We're spending an entire day exploring Suomenlinna, a fortress spread across six islands! We’ll pack a picnic, wander around, and soak up the incredible sea views!
4. Hop on an Overnight Ferry to Stockholm
Sleep on a boat and wake up in Sweden? Yes please! We'll explore Old Town, Main Square, and the Abba Museum, of course (mom-dancing is mandatory)!
5. Go Back in Time in Turku
A massive medieval castle in Finland's oldest city awaits us! We'll wander through Turku Castle and see the ruins of medieval houses in Aboa Vetus.
6. Hike in the Finnish Wilderness
With gorgeous lakeside trails, alpine forests, and traditional smoke saunas, Nuuksio National Park, only 40 minutes from the city, is perfect for an adventure.
7. Go Island Hopping in the Archipelago
One of the best summer activities is island hopping along Helsinki's archipelago. We'll jump on a boat and explore the countless tiny islands nearby.
8. Take an Arctic Adventure to Lapland
Mid-summer means melting snow, so we’ll see more of Lapland’s landscapes. We’ll hike, visit reindeer and husky farms, and pop into Santa's village (note: he’ll be OOO).
Meet the Chapter Host

Roberto
Hey! I'm Roberto!
Born in Panama City, Panama, but very much a citizen of the world. I've lived in places like China, Australia, Germany, the US, Thailand, Nepal, before finally calling Spain home. My background’s a mix of biodesign, startups, and community building, but at the core of everything I do is one constant: I care about people.
I like meaningful conversation, belly laughing, and helping groups feel connected without forcing it. Hosting for WiFi Tribe feels like the most natural thing I’ve ever done, and I can’t wait to meet you out there.

Highlights
We're calling Helsinki home for a month-long Chapter!
This vibrant city has plenty to keep us busy, and as we'll be in town for the epic White Nights season, the Midnight Sun means plenty of time for work and playtime! The city will be a major vibe, with loads of events and festivals, with locals constantly outside celebrating summer after the long winter!
Our coliving home is an epic set up of several 2-bedroom apartments inside a modern, trendy aparthotel. Each apartment includes a fully-equipped kitchen, lounge, and workplace.
We've got a dedicated coworking area for productive work sprints or Tribe hangs, as well as a number of shared spaces and a swanky rooftop for sunset chill sessions.
We're staying in Töölö, a calm, leafy pocket just north of Helsinki's centre. This neighbourhood is beautiful, and is the perfect base for our chapter. Picture lakeside walks, super cool cafés and restaurants, trendy spots playing live music, and local saunas nearby.
The sea, specifically Hietaniemi Beach, is only a few steps away with awesome walking and running trails along the waterfront. Finally, the city centre is close, and is easily accessible on foot, or via bus or tram.
Good to Know
Helsinki has great infrastructure, with incredibly fast WiFi and plenty of places to work from including coworking spaces and plenty of cafés.
The city is walkable, there are loads of green spaces to explore, and getting around is easy thanks to the reliable bus and tram transport system.
Cost of living in Finland is expensive, with food and everyday expenses on the higher side. Alcohol is particularly pricey due to state controls, so nights out can add up quickly.
Public sauna culture is huge in Finland! A visit to a traditional Finnish sauna (followed by refreshing dip in the Baltic Sea) is an absolute must-do experience.
Helsinki is incredibly safe; one of the safest cities in the world; so you can explore with complete peace of mind.
Even though we'll be in Helsinki during the summer months, it'll still be a tad chilly, with average daily temperatures around 19°C/66°F. Pack clothing to layer up, especially for cooler evenings.
The constant White Nights daylight can mess with sleep schedules, so bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper!
