Hoi An is an epic Vietnamese city that blends ancient culture, modern amenities, and beautiful beaches, making it ideal for digital nomads. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a coastline offering some of the best beaches around. Our month in Vietnam will be packed with adventure: cycling through rice paddies, motorcycling over mountains, visiting night markets, bars, and parties, enjoying the lantern-lit riverside, and exploring temples, to name a few.

Our Favorite Adventures Around Vietnam

Take on Vietnam with the Tribe and discover a new side to Hoi An and its surroundings. Open your mind to the co-created community experiences, adventures, and classic WiFi Tribe moments that'll make our time here one of a kind.

Spend time in Old Town

Hoi An Ancient Town is a well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Unlike other parts of Vietnam, it escaped most of the bombing during the Vietnam War, making the whole town a UNESCO heritage site.

Speed the weekend in Hanoi

Hanoi is a cultural jackpot with an 'always on' atmosphere. From visiting the iconic Train Street to seeing Hoan Kiem Lake, a natural freshwater lake in the city's heart, there is something for everyone here.

Vietnam food scene of dreams!

Famous for its street food, Vietnam food markets are one of the heartbeats of its cities. Pho, Banh Mi, Bun Cha and Goi Cuon are a few must-tries, and you'll find them pretty affordable, too.

See the Japanese bridge

Hoi An’s Japanese Covered Bridge was built in the 16th century to connect the Japanese and Chinese quarters, It showcases a blend of Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese architectural styles and symbolises a blend of cultures.

Zen out at the Ba Mu Temple

Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and spiritual ambience of the Ba Mu temple. The pond is filled with lotus and lilies, and the area is free to enter all day, making this a great little unwind spot on Chapter.

Visit An Bang beach

An Bang Beach offers a beautiful spot for swimming, sunbathing, and chilling. With beach bars serving fresh seafood and cocktails, it's a must-visit for beach lovers!

Highlights

After a long time we are heading back to Vietnam, and we have two beautiful properties for the month around the corner from one another. We are a 20-minute walk from Hoi An centre.

Each property as has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace space, and a kitchen.

Each room has a desk, chair, AC, and mini fridge.

The weather in Hoi An between April and May is considered dry season with highs of 30 degrees Celsius and lows of 25 degrees Celsius.

Good to Know

Loose clothing is best as it tends to keep you cooler.

There isn’t any public transport in Hoi An, and while you could manage with walking and taxis, a motorbike or bicycle will give you more flexibility. Grab (Uber) is also a safe option for getting around.

The tap water isn’t drinkable, but you can buy cheap reusable 19-litre jugs at local shops.

There are plenty of affordable places to eat in Hoi An, but street food isn't always a great option if you're a vegetarian. However, numerous restaurants don't serve meat.

What classifies a room as an upgrade?

We have three amenities categories we look at when selecting the upgrade rooms:

  • Functionality: desk, chair, kitchen, ensuite bathroom, privacy, AC, kitchenette or kitchen, fridge, walk-in closet or extra storage space etc.
  • How it looks: balcony, terrace, views, size of room, size of bed, windows/natural light, decor, living room or seating area, couch, coffee table, mirror etc.
  • Mixed: When possible, the room shares some of both of the above.
  • Securing the upgrade guarantees that you get the amenities you've paid for.
  • Upgrades that have not been secured will be assigned to members based on a number of different factors by the host (order of booking, circle level, etc.)
  • If all rooms have a particular amenity such as AC we do not offer upgrades for that particular amenity.
