Norway
Molde (With Line)
July 03 - July 31, 2026
Last Spots
Norway is quickly becoming one of our favorite destinations! We've already taken on Tromsø and explored the Norwegian countryside hut to hut, and now it's time for something different... We're teaming up with long-standing Triber, Line, for a co-created Chapter in a very special place in Norway: Line's hometown of Molde!
Called the “City of Roses,” Molde is a charming fjord town and one of Norway's hidden gems, famous for its gardens and legendary skyline. For a month, we'll cowork against beautiful backdrops and spend every free moment outdoors. We'll be in Molde at the best time of year: peak summer and prime Midnight Sun time, where the sun stays up late, and so do we!
New to WiFi Tribe? A Chapter is a month of co-living & co-working with 15-25 remote professionals and entrepreneurs. You'll arrive in a new city with an instant community of inspiring, like-minded friends to do life with (deep work on weekdays, daily hangouts, shared dinners, big adventures on weekends). Your social life is an automatic 10/10, but you choose your pace and set your schedule. And by the end, you'll leave with friends you keep traveling with for years.
Everything is co-created – NOT a tour group, a community. Most members are seasoned solo travellers who want a more connected, fun and meaningful global lifestyle – a social life that travels with them. Everyone is values-vetted (only 17% of applicants are accepted) to make sure you'll find your kind of people here. Our vibes: be kind, be bold, stay humble.
"WiFi Tribe has truly changed my life. I got to see, meet, and make friends with a lot of like-minded people, numerous beautiful souls. I would definitely recommend it to people who want to explore life from a different perspective." - Masoud, Triber
During the week, we'll spend our days kicking it in the city's chill downtown area, coworking from cute cafés with blazing fast internet, and checking out Line's favorite spots and secret local hangouts across town. After work, we'll have plenty of time to hang out and join in on the fun activities that the city has to offer, like kayaking through fjords, climbing, and more!
If you're a hiking fan, sign up for this Chapter ASAP! Norway is home to some of the most beautiful terrain on earth, and there is no shortage of hiking trails for us to explore. From summiting towering mountain ranges, to snapping dramatic pics at the edges of cliffs, and cruising through dreamy fjords, this Chapter will have us adventuring and exploring non-stop!
Unique Experience:
Member Co-Hosted Chapter
This Chapter is extra special because we're being welcomed by long-standing Triber, Line, to her hometown!
She'll show us Norway through a local's eyes, taking us to her favourite hiking trails, hidden gems, and spots around the city.
This is what WiFi Tribe is all about: co-creating incredible experiences with strangers that quickly become your travel community. Line wanted to share her hometown with the Tribe, and soon, we'll all get to enjoy an authentic experience of Norway that blog posts and guidebooks couldn't curate!
Line has absolutely made this Chapter happen!
She's been instrumental in sharing great advice for accommodation and location planning, has already started cooking up some ideas for our epic adventures, and is basically opening up her world to us. Honestly, we owe her massive thanks for making this Co-Created Chapter dream a reality! She knows every awesome coworking spot, plenty of hiking trails, great viewpoints to see the city just right, and she's going to share all of it with us.
Fun fact: Line ran a hut-to-hut hiking expedition around Norway last year, so you KNOW our weekend adventures are going to be next level! She's the perfect person to show us what Norway is all about.

Experience Molde with the Tribe
We're bringing WiFi Tribe to Molde for the very first time! Imagine wrapping up work at 5pm, then kayaking in broad daylight at 10pm (hello, Midnight Sun!), with weekends spent conquering the Atlantic Road, twisting though Trollstigen's dramatic hairpin bends, and hiking through landscapes so stunning you'll stop every few seconds for photo ops.
1. Cruise Along the Trolls' Ladder
We'll drive along the 11 hairpin bends of the Trollstigen Road, one of Norway's most dramatic mountain passes, spotting waterfalls as we go!
2. Soar Above the Fjords
Adrenaline junkies, get ready for a treat! The best way to see the mountains and fjords is from above, so strap into a harness and paraglide away!
3. Plan a Surf Weekend
While not known as a surf destination, about six hours from Molde takes you to some awesome breaks where you can surf next to gorgeous mountain backgrounds.
4. Scale a Cliff Face
Up for an adventure? In Åndalsnes, we'll climb the Intro Wall via ferrata on this 3-4 hour adventure, catching gorgeous views of the Romsdalen Valley below.
5. Drive the Incredible Atlantic Road
One of the most beautiful drives in the world, the Atlantic Road weaves through tiny islands over the open Atlantic Ocean. We'll stop for a million photo ops!
6. Hike the Mountains Around Molde
Norway is a hiker's dream with countless trails! Hit Varden for sunset views over the Molde Panorama or Moldegårdsnuten for a challenge with epic fjord views.
7. Overnight in a DNT Mountain Hut
Deep dive into quintessential Norwegian culture and join an overnight hike. We'll hike to one of DNT's rustic cabins, sleep in bunk beds, and wake up to sunrise.
8. Explore Molde by Bike and Kayak
Downtown Molde is an adventure playground. We'll rent electric bikes to cruise around, kayak through fjord waters, or catch the ferry to the beautiful Hjertøya island.

"Hi friends!
I am so honored to be a part of this amazing journey! I am Sandra, Software Developer with home base in Belgrade, Serbia. I love technology, psychology, well anything that ends with -OGY plus Dancing. I am a part of Dance Fitness group called Euphoria, dancing in my spare time. I simply love learning, the less I know about a topic, more eager I am to hear more. I love when conversation with someone broadens my horizons and changes my opinion. I want people to feel comfortable to tell me anything without worrying about being judged and just feel my love and support. I am also a romantic, I have seen all the romantic comedies(multiple times) and read many romance novels!"

Highlights
We're calling a laid-back coastal town in western Norway home for a month of coliving and coworking! We'll be accompanied by our very own Triber, Line, who'll show us around her home town and take us to all the best places and hiking trails!
Molde is the perfect place to settle in for a month of remote work. When we're not working or planning activities late into the evening (thanks to the Midnight Sun, it stays bright until 11pm!), we'll spend our weekends exploring more of the beautiful country of Norway!
Our coliving homes are several 4-bedroom apartments. Each apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and insanely fast WiFi. Each bedroom includes a desk and chair for productive work time, and to add to that, we'll get exclusive access to a large shared space that can be used for coworking or Tribe hangs.
Rooms do not have A/C but Norway's peak summer temperatures are quite mild (15-20°C/59-68°F). Each bedroom and common area has a panel heater and ventilation system for those cooler evenings.
We're staying in student housing while the students are on summer break. With this, we'll get access to university facilities including the canteen and the gym.
We're in a great location, just a short walk and a quick bus ride to and from the city center!
Good to Know
Please note, there are no shared rooms on this chapter and no shared rooms for couples. Beds are single beds only.
Molde is compact and walkable, but we'll likely hire and share a couple of cars for epic drives like the Atlantic Road and Trollstigen, and for accessing the incredible hiking trails in the surrounding mountains.
The cost of living in Norway is high. This is one of the most expensive countries in the world, so consider creating and sticking to a budget.
Our Chapter runs throughout July so we'll be in town during the Midnight Sun season. During this time, the sun barely sets; it just dips below the horizon around 11pm and rises again at 3:30am. The constant daylight is amazing for adventures but it can seriously mess with your sleep. Bring an eye mask if you're a light sleeper!
July weather in Molde is beautiful but seriously unpredictable. Temperatures typically range from 15-20°C (59-68°F), but it can swing from glorious 25-30°C (77-86°F) sunny stretches (summer 2024 had three straight weeks of sunshine!) to 10°C (50°F) rainy, windy days all within the same week.
Pack for everything: t-shirts for sunny days, warm fabrics like fleece for cooler moments, and a proper rain jacket.
We'll be in town for the famous Moldejazz International Jazz Festival (13-18 July)! This is one of Europe's biggest jazz festivals that completely transforms the town into a non-stop jazz party, and we'll have a front row seat to the action!
Norway is incredibly safe; one of the safest countries in the world. The biggest "danger" is underestimating mountain weather when hiking, so always check conditions and pack appropriately for outdoor adventures.
