We're no strangers to Portugal, but for the very first time, we're heading to Porto to call this magical city home for a month of coliving and coworking! We're travelling to Portugal at the BEST time of year: peak summer! Get ready for warm days, plenty of sunshine, and loads of hours spent exploring and having FUN!
Beautiful and captivating, Porto is a lively city with an impeccable vibe and jaw-dropping views. From sparkling seascapes of the Douro River meeting the ocean, to colorful buildings cascading down the city's dramatic hills, and a UNESCO World Heritage site, every corner of this city looks like a postcard, and what better place to call home for a month!
New to WiFi Tribe? A Chapter is a month of co-living & co-working with 15-25 remote professionals and entrepreneurs. You'll arrive in a new city with an instant community of inspiring, like-minded friends to do life with (deep work on weekdays, daily hangouts, shared dinners, big adventures on weekends). Your social life is an automatic 10/10, but you choose your pace and set your schedule. And by the end, you'll leave with friends you keep traveling with for years.
Everything is co-created – NOT a tour group, a community. Most members are seasoned solo travellers who want a more connected, fun and meaningful global lifestyle – a social life that travels with them. Everyone is values-vetted (only 17% of applicants are accepted) to make sure you'll find your kind of people here. Our vibes: be kind, be bold, stay humble.
"These lifelong friends made from being a part of Wifi Tribe have supported me in ways I never expected, but so appreciate. And, staying connected with others via the worldwide hubs and Slack has added so much fun and richness to my life." - Giselle, Triber
Summer in Porto means hours spend endlessly walking through the city's beautiful streets, watching endless sunsets from miradouros and rooftop bars, and bar hopping along the Galerias de Paris late into the night. In Porto, there's plenty to do, and much to eat: become a pastel de nata snob and indulge in plenty of port wine tastings.
On weekends, we'l take our pastéis de nata to go and see more of Portugal! We'll explore historic towns like Guimarães (said to be the birthplace of Portugal), cruise along the canals of Aveiro (nicknamed the Venice of Portugal), sip wine in the Douro Valley, and fill our entire camera roll with pics of the Algarve's cliffsides and shorelines.

Incredible destinations, lovely people, and wisdom-sprouting adventures have peppered and punctuated my travels around the world. Highlights
We're heading to Porto for our first ever Chapter!
We've got a great setup for our coliving home! We're all under one roof, staying in a collection of modern 4- and 5-bedroom flats. Each flat comes with a fully-equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms, and a spacious dining table which seats 4-6 people.
All rooms come with desks and chairs for productive work sprints, and some rooms have balconies.
As well as having desks in our room, we'll also have access to a communal outdoor area (shared with other guests) where plenty of tables and chairs make for an easy coworking space. Beyond the accommodation, we'll be spoiled for places to work from as Porto has an abundance of cafés scattered throughout the city; perfect for productive coffee-fuelled work sessions.
We're staying in Bonfim, a once-industrial neighborhood turned creative hub. There are loads of indie cafés, wine bars, and design studios super closeby.
The location is perfect: we're just steps from 24 de Agosto Metro station, and a 15-20 minute walk to Porto's historic center.
Good to Know
There are no shared rooms on this Chapter. Shared room rates are only available for couples sharing. For couples sharing, please note the bed size of 140cm wide.
Porto in July means peak summer, so expect warm sunny days and endless adventures. Rooms don't have A/C, but Porto's July temperatures are not that hot (around 25-27°C/77-81°F) so going without A/C is totally manageable!
Porto is incredibly walkable, but be prepared to shimmy up and down those hills! For getting around, beyond Uber, there's an efficient metro and bus system, and the tram is iconic so make sure to hop on a ride while you're here.
Our location in Bonfim puts us right in the heart of Porto's creative scene. Bonfim is one of Porto's coolest up-and-coming neighborhoods; a former industrial area, transformed into a creative hub. You'll be surrounded by local life rather than tourist crowds, and have plenty of cool bars, cafés, boutique stores, and more to explore.
