Join Us In Scotland for The Fringe
We're hanging out in Edinburgh, Scotland, at the perfect time of year! Crossing over with the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe for the month of August, you can enjoy exploring this epic Scottish city and spend every free second attending the epic events and acts of the Fringe!
New to WiFi Tribe? A Chapter is a month of co-living & co-working with 15-25 remote professionals and entrepreneurs. You'll arrive in a new city with an instant community of inspiring, like-minded friends to do life with (deep work on weekdays, daily hangouts, shared dinners, big adventures on weekends). Your social life is an automatic 10/10, but you choose your pace and set your schedule. And by the end, you'll leave with friends you keep traveling with for years.
Everything is co-created – NOT a tour group, a community. Most members are seasoned solo travellers who want a more connected, fun and meaningful global lifestyle – a social life that travels with them. Everyone is values-vetted (only 17% of applicants are accepted) to make sure you'll find your kind of people here. Our vibes: be kind, be bold, stay humble.

Get a Front-Row Seat to the Edinburgh Fringe
The highlight of this Chapter is that it aligns perfectly with the world-famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe (aka Fringe for short). The largest performance arts festival in the world, each year, during the month of August, Scotland's capital city is set ablaze in a celebration of the arts, calling performers from each corner of the world.
As a Triber on the Edinburgh Chapter, you'll have a front-row seat for the full duration of the festival. Our coliving home is a short walk from the festival area, meaning you can plan Fringe breaks into your work days, catching enthralling plays, productions, and performances in between work sprints.
From comedy to theatre, spoken word poetry to dance, there's a performance fit for everyone's interest—and you'll get a full month to soak up the experience alongside the Tribe. Find your next favorite stand-up comedy legend, watch endless street performances, attend events in historic theatres, and find pop-up events in unexpected places around Edinburgh.
Experience Edinburgh with the Tribe
Explore Edinburgh during the best time of the year! Spend an afternoon strolling through The Meadows, hike to the top of Arthur's Seat (did you know it's an extinct volcano?), catch rays at Portobello Beach, enjoy a scotch tasting outside, grab the bus to Pentland Hills, explore the water walkways in Leith, or catch incredible performances during the Fringe.
1. Experience The Fringe with The Tribe
Get lost in a world of art and wonder. Plan your work days around the Fringe line-up, filling your calendar with countless shows that thrill, delight, and inspire.
2. Stay in a Castle
Whether it's medieval knights and joust fights or Bridgerton balls you're imagining, in Edinburg, you can make your swankiest, fanciest dreams come true by spending a night in a castle.
3. Find Your Favorite Local Pub
Cozy up with a frosty pint or sip your way through a wee dram of whisky; Edinburgh has plenty of pubs ready to explore. Don't forget to visit the oldest pub in Edinburgh, The Sheep Heid Inn, established in 1360!
4. Visit the Isle of Skye
Explore the Isle of Skye on Scotland's northwest coast, admiring medieval castles and rugged landscapes. Marvel at The Old Man of Storr and discover the enchanted tale of Sligachan Bridge, where, as legend has it, the waters below unlock eternal beauty.
5. Hang Out in Leith
Steeped in history and oozing contemporary coolness, Leith is a hip and happening neighborhood filled with plenty to do. Walk along the Water of Leith River, indulge in fine dining delights at Michelin Star-rated restaurant, Heron, and grab a bite at The Pitt Street food Market.
6. Explore Edinburgh’s Famous Landmarks
A city with incredible history, exploring Edinburgh's museums, monuments, and heritage sites is a must! Meander through the Royal Mile, learn the history of Real Mary King Close, explore Old and New Town, and wander through Edinburgh Castle.
7. Go to the Highland Games
Head to Inverness and watch traditional competitive sporting events like the caber toss, keg toss, and tug of war at the Highland Games. Enjoy parades from impressive pipe bands, jam out to traditional music, and try to learn the steps of the Highland Fling.
8. Roadtrip and Hike Through the Highlands
The Scottish Highlands have some of the best natural landscapes and hikes, like seeing the sunrise at Old Man of Storr or taking a dip in the Fairy Pools.
Meet the Chapter Host
Rachael
Hi, my name is Rachael Arthur, and I’m so excited to join WiFi Tribe as a Chapter Host! I was born and raised in Houston, TX, but my passion for dance and musical theater eventually led me to New York City, where I spent 10 amazing years.
I love meeting new people, discovering what makes them tick, and geeking out over personality assessments. While traveling, you’ll often find me biking along a scenic waterfront, catching a breathtaking sunset, hiking a new trail, or diving into new adventures. I’m also an avid fan of investigative journalism podcasts, self-help books, memoirs, and—yes—reality TV!

Good to Know
We've hosted 3 Chapters in Edinburgh, and we keep coming back for more (by popular demand!). We're visiting Edinburgh during high season, which contributes to the Chapter prices.
None of the apartments have A/C as it's not common in Edinburgh and generally not needed, even in the summer months (the average temperature in August is a breezy high of 17°C/63°F to low of 10°C/50°F).
There are no Shared rooms on this Chapter. Pricing is available for couples, each booking an individual Shared spot.
Prices in Edinburgh skyrocket during the Fringe Festival. At present, some Airbnb costs are around $8K for a single apartment, so securing your spot in the Chapter is not only giving you an incredible location for the festival, but reasonable accommodation prices too!
Opting to join this Chapter is a great option if you'd like to secure accommodation ahead of time during the busiest period of the year!
