Our Colombian Home

We chose Medellin, Colombia as our home for January 2017. It ranks amongst the top hubs for creativity, entrepreneurship and the location independent movement of Latin America. In 2013, Medellin was chosen as the world's most innovative city. We'll be in an exciting district of a busy Colombian city, with great cafés, lively bars and many of the best restaurants of Medellin...

Here you can see a collection of photos where we stayed in Medellin in 2017 to give you a general idea of quality. As soon as our new home is confirmed we will update the photos.

And here's a map to get an idea of where we'll be!

Adventures + Things To Do In Colombia

Colombia is a place of fascinating history, stunning natural beauty, countless adventures, and of course, coffee. Annemarie – a member of the tribe who we met in Italy – wrote a great article about why she loves Colombia, with lots of tips for things to do!

Medellin - Nomad City

Many people used to know a lot about Medellin, but most of the stories belong to the past. It really transformed and turned into a beautiful Metropolis which is fun to discover, explore and is abuzz with culture, nightlife and entrepreneurial spirit.

Get Your Adrenaline Kick

Join a mountain bike tour and explore the lush valleys, mountains and lake area west of Medellin. Cycle along a scenic cloud forest, past farmland and visit colonial Guatapé. Or would you rather catch that epic birds-eye view? Take to the airs and experience an unforgettable paragliding adventure of Colombia's breathtaking scenery from above.

Explore old Cartagena

Colonial Cartagena is the second oldest and most picturesque city of Colombia. Wander through the cobblestone streets and discover life at a completely different pace. Indulge in the food, chase a sunset, get lost in a Caribbean jungle city, and finish your day sipping on a cocktail at Cafe del Mar.

Salento and The Valle de Cocora

No doubt you will have seen the image of this remarkable cloud forest before - it adorns many postcards throughout the country. But, to experience it yourself is something else entirely. Wax palms up to 60m tall covering the valley you are going to reach after a four hour hike through the jungle and Sale

White sand, turquoise waters in ahead, a rainforest of palm trees behind. That's what people think of when they hear 'Caribbean'. Check out  Tayrona Nationalpark and the Rosario Islands.
