When we land in Medellín, we immediately remember why we never want to leave. It's almost become a rite of passage to join the Tribe in the City of Eternal Spring: it's how we know El Poblado and Parque Lleras like the back of our hands, can recommend the best bandeja paisa in Laureles, and know all the secret rooftop bars with mountain views. Every Chapter here has been incredible, and this one's going to be no different!
New to WiFi Tribe? A Chapter is a month of co-living & co-working with 15-25 remote professionals and entrepreneurs. You'll arrive in a new city with an instant community of inspiring, like-minded friends to do life with (deep work on weekdays, daily hangouts, shared dinners, big adventures on weekends). Your social life is an automatic 10/10, but you choose your pace and set your schedule. And by the end, you'll leave with friends you keep traveling with for years.

Born in Panama City, Panama, but very much a citizen of the world. I've lived in places like China, Australia, Germany, the US, Thailand, Nepal, before finally calling Spain home. My background’s a mix of biodesign, startups, and community building, but at the core of everything I do is one constant: I care about people.
I like meaningful conversation, belly laughing, and helping groups feel connected without forcing it. Hosting for WiFi Tribe feels like the most natural thing I’ve ever done, and I can’t wait to meet you out there.

Highlights
Medellín is a firm Tribe favorite and we can't wait to get back to the city!
We've got a great setup for our coliving homes! We're returning to our base in Manila, the leafy pocket of lower Poblado that's calm at night but just a five-minute walk from cafés, restaurants, and rooftop bars with gorgeous mountain views.
We'll be spread across two charming boutique houses right next door to each other (hi, neighbour!). Both properties have plenty of space to work and hang out in, though one is larger and will likely become our main Tribe hangout spot.
The designated Tribe Hang HQ property includes a BBQ for festive dinners and an outdoor living room with a TV; great for lazy movie nights.
Both coliving homes have communal spaces perfect for co-working or chill sessions, and that lovely Colombian charm. Property 1 includes a fully-equipped kitchen, while Property 2, despite not having a main kitchen, includes kitchenettes in most rooms. Most of the rooms come with desks and chairs.
We've got excellent spaces to work from at home, but exploring El Poblado's trendy café scene is absolutely essential! The neighborhood is packed with incredible spots, and the Colombian coffee keep you buzzing (fair warning: you might become a total coffee snob!).
Good to Know
Our coliving homes are literally next to each other, so even though we're in different houses, we'll still have a super close and intimate group vibe on this Chapter!
Property 1 has four rooms, three of which include kitchenettes. The rooms that do not include kitchenettes (Savings B) can use the large shared kitchen in Property 2, just next door.
Not all rooms have A/C, but this really isn't a train smash as Medellín is the "City of Eternal Spring" where the weather is pleasant all year round. From late March through mid-April, temperatures are around 20-28°C (68-82°F), so you'll be comfortable even without an A/C! We may experience
occasional afternoon rain showers, but they rarely last long. Pack a light rain jacket just in case!
Medellín is incredibly affordable; it's a budget-friendly paradise. Expect to pay around $5-10 for great meals.
Spanish is the primary language here, and outside of tourist areas, English isn't really widely spoken. Have a few simple phrases under your belt or use translation apps, and lean on your Tribers, who are always ready to help.
Medellín has transformed dramatically over the past few decades, but, like any big city, it's important to stay street-smart. Avoid displaying expensive items, use registered transportation, stick to known neighborhoods (especially at night), and be aware of your surroundings. The Manila/El Poblado area where we're staying is considered very safe, and the Tribe has called Medellín home many times before!

Medellín Chapter FAQs

If a Member cancels a Chapter booking at least ten weeks prior to the commencement of the Chapter, the Member shall receive a refund of amounts paid minus the deposit and the deposit shall be forfeited unless the booking was either made within the 48 hours prior to the cancellation request or the member recommitted to an early booking in which case the deposit shall be allowed to be applied to a future booking.
If a Member cancels a Chapter booking at least six weeks, but less than ten weeks, prior to the commencement of the Chapter, the Member shall receive a 50% refund of amounts paid minus the deposit and the deposit shall be forfeited unless the booking was either made within the 48 hours prior to the cancellation request or the member recommitted to an early booking in which case the deposit shall be allowed to be applied to a future booking.
If a Member cancels a Chapter booking less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the Chapter, the Member shall receive no refund whatsoever and the deposit shall be forfeited.

We have three amenities categories we look at when selecting the upgrade rooms:
- Functionality: desk, chair, kitchen, ensuite bathroom, privacy, AC, kitchenette or kitchen, fridge, walk-in closet or extra storage space etc.
- How it looks: balcony, terrace, views, size of room, size of bed, windows/natural light, decor, living room or seating area, couch, coffee table, mirror etc.
- Mixed: When possible, the room shares some of both of the above.
- Securing the upgrade guarantees that you get the amenities you've paid for.
- Upgrades that have not been secured will be assigned to members based on a number of different factors by the host (order of booking, circle level, etc.)
- If all rooms have a particular amenity such as AC we do not offer upgrades for that particular amenity.
