Experience Greece with the Tribe

Join us as we explore Athens, one of the world's oldest cities and the cradle of Western civilization. With its rich history and culture that dates back thousands of years, Athens offers a unique combination of ancient landmarks, museums, trendy neighborhoods, and exciting nightlife - everything we need to create an unforgettable chapter experience together.

1. Soak up Ancient History at the Acropolis

The Acropolis is the most famous landmark of Athens and one of the world's most famous historical sites.

2. Explore Gorgeous Plaka

Plaka is the oldest neighborhood in Athens, and it is full of small streets and alleyways. It has several ancient buildings, including churches and old mansions.

3. Stroll Around the National Garden

The National Garden is a large park located in the heart of Athens. It has several small lakes, botanical gardens, and shaded walking paths.

4. Enjoy the View from Lycabettus Hill

Lycabettus Hill is the highest point in Athens, and it offers a panoramic view of the city. You can reach the top of the hill by a cable car or by climbing up the stairs.

5.  Taste the Local Cuisine

Athens is known for its delicious food. Try the traditional Greek dishes, such as moussaka, souvlaki, and tzatziki, and taste the local wines and ouzo.

6. Explore the Island of Aegina

Aegina is a beautiful island located near Athens. You can take a ferry from Piraeus and explore the island's beaches, historical sites, and local cuisine.

7. Take a Day Trip to Delphi

Delphi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about two and a half hours from Athens. It was the center of the ancient world and home to the famous oracle.

8. Visit the Temple of Poseidon

The Temple of Poseidon is located in Sounion, about an hour's drive from Athens. It is situated on a cliff overlooking the sea and offers stunning views of the Aegean Sea.

Highlights

The surrounding area is certainly not a conventional touristic place but rather an authentic, multicultural and bohemian area of downtown Athens. It is very central and well connected to public transportation. We will be staying a 10 min walk to Exarcheia Square and just a 20min walk to Monastiraki Square.

We have 4 apartments in one building with AC in all bedrooms, each with a washer, kitchen and living room. One of the apartments has a bigger communal area and together with an external communal space will provide a great gathering and coworking set up.

Access to a huge roof top terrace with incredible and unique 360° views over the entire city of Athens, the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill, surrounding mountains and the sea! There is a hot tub on the roof and a couple of showers for the sunbathing lovers.

Good to Know

We are going to be heading to Athens during its peak season and when temperatures are usually very high. Luckily the rooms are equipped with AC.

The apartments differ somewhat in style and layout despite being in the same building but are comparable.

There are other tenants in the building across the 7 floors and there is thankfully a lift.
