With an ideal coliving and coworking setup and our down-to-earth, badass Tribers, this Chapter is one for the books! It promises epic ocean adventures, hikes, waterfalls, boat parties and genuine small-island living vibes. When it's time to get sh!t done, our villas have multiple coworking spots and solid WiFi in common areas. If the ocean is calling, you can snorkel, scuba dive, sail, swim with dolphins, explore colourful coral reefs, relax on catamaran cruises and sit on the beach every day if you want to!

Rachael
Hi, my name is Rachael Arthur, and I’m so excited to join WiFi Tribe as a Chapter Host! I was born and raised in Houston, TX, but my passion for dance and musical theater eventually led me to New York City, where I spent 10 amazing years.
I love meeting new people, discovering what makes them tick, and geeking out over personality assessments. While traveling, you’ll often find me biking along a scenic waterfront, catching a breathtaking sunset, hiking a new trail, or diving into new adventures. I’m also an avid fan of investigative journalism podcasts, self-help books, memoirs, and—yes—reality TV!

Did someone say dance party on a catamaran?!
Last time, we hired a catamaran and danced our hearts out (I'm talking choreographed numbers with moves and everything!) while taking in the view of the island from the water!
A water lover’s dream!
Advanced or beginner, there is something for everyone. You can go kayaking, snorkelling, diving, sailing, or kitesurfing, which can be found across the Island at all levels.
Island camping!
Locals took us island hopping before setting up camp on the shores. We played games, told stories around the campfire, and danced the night away until we all fell asleep under the stars.
Port Louis day trip
We sampled local street food at the Central Market and wandered in between the colourful alleyways of Chinatown for the day.

Highlights
Our 6 villas are located in a private complex in Flic en Flac. The property is an ideal Tribe set up and we always feel like we're in a mini WiFi Tribe village when we're here.
The nearby beach is the longest white sand beach on the island and it's a popular spot for water sports due to the calmer shoreline.
Each villa has small and large common areas, a washer, and a fully-stocked kitchen so if you love cooking this one is for you!
All bedrooms have a private bathroom, some are ensuite and others are just outside the bedrooms.

Good to Know
We have a free shared shuttle from 9am - 5pm that goes to the beach and the surrounding restaurants and bars.
We're 5 a minute drive to the nearest grocery store (20 min walk).
To discover more of the island, we've rented cars.
The Ministry of Tourism strictly prohibits diving with humpback whales and sperm whales. Please be mindful of these measures while on Chapter.
Electricity in Mauritius is ever-increasing due to higher production costs. Although we're mindful of over-consumption of electricity in every Chapter, we will need to be extra conscious about our usage in this Chapter.

Mauritius Chapter FAQs

If a Member cancels a Chapter booking at least ten weeks prior to the commencement of the Chapter, the Member shall receive a refund of amounts paid minus the deposit and the deposit shall be forfeited unless the booking was either made within the 48 hours prior to the cancellation request or the member recommitted to an early booking in which case the deposit shall be allowed to be applied to a future booking.
If a Member cancels a Chapter booking at least six weeks, but less than ten weeks, prior to the commencement of the Chapter, the Member shall receive a 50% refund of amounts paid minus the deposit and the deposit shall be forfeited unless the booking was either made within the 48 hours prior to the cancellation request or the member recommitted to an early booking in which case the deposit shall be allowed to be applied to a future booking.
If a Member cancels a Chapter booking less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the Chapter, the Member shall receive no refund whatsoever and the deposit shall be forfeited.

We have three amenities categories we look at when selecting the upgrade rooms:
- Functionality: desk, chair, kitchen, ensuite bathroom, privacy, AC, kitchenette or kitchen, fridge, walk-in closet or extra storage space etc.
- How it looks: balcony, terrace, views, size of room, size of bed, windows/natural light, decor, living room or seating area, couch, coffee table, mirror etc.
- Mixed: When possible, the room shares some of both of the above.
- Securing the upgrade guarantees that you get the amenities you've paid for.
- Upgrades that have not been secured will be assigned to members based on a number of different factors by the host (order of booking, circle level, etc.)
- If all rooms have a particular amenity such as AC we do not offer upgrades for that particular amenity.
Closet airpot: Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU)
The airport is about an hour drive to our coliving home, we'll share the address closer to the Chapter so members can coordinate to share rides.
