Weekend Ski Trips, Anyone?
This is a bit of an unusual chapter… our theme for the weekends is snow sports! We’ll be living and working Prague – one of Europe’s most beautiful cities – during the week, and on the weekends, we invite the Tribe to join us on the slopes for a ski break!
Learn to Ski or snowboard
Follow your sense of adventure to the snowy mountains of the Czech Republic and become a skier in just a few days with the help of instructors, or even, the Tribe!
Make your own tracks
Špindlerův Mlýn is rated the best ski resort in the country and we’re at the right time of year for great snow conditions. There are 3 snow parks, plenty of deep snow off-piste slopes, and just the right number of trees to dodge.
tick off dog sledding from your bucket list ✓
About 2 hours from Prague, a local dog trainer offers sledding tours that take you whizzing past snow-covered trees on a sled pulled by a (tame) pack of our hair friends.
And then, there’s Prague
Prague’s stunning vista is a bohemian collage of burnt orange rooftops, soaring chapel spires and 14th-century Baroque architecture. Imagine the confident charm of Paris, the elegant chaos of Rome and the ancient soul of London; right there, you have Prague.
Castles, clock-towers and cathedrals
Waking up in Prague is like waking up in a fairytale. Walk the cobble stone streets, and find a piece of history around every corner. Stumble upon ancient chapels, gothic statues, bohemian art, and uncover the remnants of a communist era that ended just 30 years ago.
The fairytale continues…
Visit the castle Karlstejn (right) or venture out to the idyllic town of Cesky Krumlov (below) one of the Czech-Republic’s most authentic old towns.
The ‘Bone Chapel’
Dare to visit Sedlec Ossuary, a small Roman Catholic chapel that has been decorated with the bones of an estimated 40,000 to 70,000 people. The story behind it is equal parts fascinating and chilling.
Our Home in Prague
Our homes are a collection of spacious apartments, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre.
