Experience Edinburgh with the Tribe

Take on Scotland with the Tribe and discover a new side to Edinburgh. Open your mind to the cocreated community experiences, adventures, and classic WiFi Tribe moments that'll make our time here one of a kind.

Explore Edinburgh During the Best Time of Year

Spend an afternoon strolling through The Meadows, hike to the top of Arthur's Seat (did you know it's an extinct volcano?), catch rays at Portobello Beach, enjoy a scotch tasting outside, grab the bus to Pentland Hills, or explore the water walkways in Leith.

See Dolphins in... Scotland?

While surprising, it's true. The Black Isle Peninsula hosts white bottlenose dolphins year round. Catch them jumping and eating from the shore or a boat trip.

Roadtrip and Hike Through the Highlands

The Scottish Highlands have some of the best natural landscapes and hikes, like seeing the sun rise at Old Man of Storr or taking a dip in the Fairy Pools.

Wee Moments with The Tribe From Previous Chapters!

Weekend trip epicness: "We rented a f*** castle".

Quirky rituals:
"As goofy as it sounds, our McDonald's runs turned out to be amongst the best times of Chapters! I truly feel like the cornerstone of this Chapter and our friendships are rooted in Mickey D's (lol) - nothing brings people together like a Big Mac!"

Chapter soundtrack:
"Seeing the Lumineers at the Edinburgh Castle and the 1975 at the Glasgow Music Festival."

Trauma bonding (lol):
"Hiking in Glencoe is my most memorable experience from the trip...we were very underprepared for it! We were scrambling up rockslides and sliding down on falling rocks. It was kinda terrifying. But the group stuck with me, even when I was freaking out, so I am very grateful to them and they're are no better people I could have experienced that with."

Random magic:
"Highland games weekend (complete with kilts!), my first classical music concert and coworking from a pub!"

Amazing humans:
"An group of amazing people to share experiences with, laugh with, cry with, and support each other."

11-Bedroom House

Apartments at university residence

Highlights

We are staying on the edge of New Town, the home of cool designer labels, antique shops, nice bars, restaurants as well as a vibrant nightlife. Start your night by having an amazing dinner at a gourmet restaurant in New Town and then check out the chic Scottish bars along George Street, the center of entertainment in Edinburgh.

We're walking distance to George Street, Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, Dean Village, and Old Town.

If we secure the same housing as last year, the 11-bedroom apartment has a comfy living room and two of everything else: fully-equipped kitchens, dining rooms, and washers. Each room has a dresser and closet with shared bathrooms.

If we secure the same housing as last year, the other apartments are university residences outside of summer months. They have a desk, and ensuite bathroom and share a fully equipped kitchen. We also have access to a shared common area with a pool table, tables, and couches, and a paid laundry room onsite.

Good to Know

We've hosted 3 Chapters in Edinburgh and we keep coming back for more. (By popular demand!)

We're visiting Edinburgh during high season, which contributes to the Chapter prices.

The 11-bedroom house was formally two separate apartments that were refurbished to be a coliving space so this is where we'll likely gather for a few family meals and maybe a Tribal Tuesday or two.

If we secure the same properties as last year we'd encourage everyone to invite each other over, make an effort to check out the different spaces, and mix up between the houses. It's a 7min walk between the two homes.

None of the apartments have A/C as it's not common in Edinburgh and generally not needed even in the summer months.

We are looking into installing Starlink for reliable WiFi throughout this Chapter.

5 days after the chapter ends the famous Fringe Festival is going to take place in Edinburgh!
